Curious what people think. I'm originally from Minneapolis and With a population of 10,631, Mount Airy is a small town. Rent is about $699/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Mount Airy sits at 451.1 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $699 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
