Job market in Mount Clemens for tech?

Been meaning to ask this. Born and raised here. Rent is about $899/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 15,567 people. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The housing market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
