Is Mount Gay-Shamrock good for remote workers?

Household incomes average around $49,063 in Mount Gay-Shamrock. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
