Mount Hermon job market vs Albuquerque

Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 10 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
