Why I chose Mount Holly over bigger cities

Anyone else feel this way? Household incomes average around $75,928 in Mount Holly. Crime rate is something to consider -Mount Holly sits at 128.9 per 100K. With a population of 17,928, Mount Holly is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Anyone in a similar situation? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
