Affordable areas near Mount Hood Villages?

OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,425/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I work in engineering here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is tough. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.
