Freelancing from Mount Ida -experience?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and It's a a small town city with about 1,358 people. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 10 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
