Anyone work in healthcare in Mount Juliet?

Alright, I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $423,000 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,875 for rent here. With a population of 40,828, Mount Juliet is a smaller city. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a sales manager, 44, moved here 4 years ago from Phoenix. I've lived in West and North, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Decent public transit for the size
3. Good airport with direct flights
4. The people are generally hit or miss - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Property taxes are high
2. Chain restaurants dominate
3. The cultural scene situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- West: Great for retirees. underrated vibes, walkable.
- North: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Phoenix, everything felt underrated. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are affordable. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $100K-$150K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to San Diego it's solid.
