Is Mount Juliet walkable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,875 for rent here. With a population of 40,828, Mount Juliet is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Westside for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- The food scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
