Hi all, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Mount Juliet sits at 157.9 per 100K. The median home value here is around $423,000, which is pretty steep. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Mount Juliet? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
