Best neighborhoods in Mount Pleasant

Born and raised here. It's a a small town city with about 9,093 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thoughts? Appreciate any input. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Denver it's surprisingly good.

I've lived in Downtown for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good airport with direct flights
- The safety scene is decent

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
