Longtime lurker here, I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $48,963 in Mount Pleasant. You can expect to pay around $740 for rent here. Rent is about $740/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Mount Pleasant sits at 279.2 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up.
