Planning a move to Mount Pleasant -neighborhoods?

Hello, Homes are going for about $269,900 on average. With a population of 27,694, Mount Pleasant is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective.

I'm a nurse and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is decent and there's always something going on.
