Anyone else love living in Mount Sinai?
Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $637,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation? The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
