Healthcare options in Mount Vernon?

Hi all, Crime rate is something to consider -Mount Vernon sits at 1,445.8 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much pricey but now it's solid.

Came here for retirement and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The safety is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.
