So, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 4.5%, which is about average. Rent is about $1,546/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $449,600 on average. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
