Pros and cons of Mount Vernon after 15 years

Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Chicago and It's a a smaller city city with about 35,312 people. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
