Best companies to work for in Mountain Home?

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $1,061 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

I'm a HR manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely challenging and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Houston, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
