Been living here since 2022. Crime rate is something to consider -Mountain View sits at 195.0 per 100K. Rent is about $2,975/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
