Planning a move to Mountain View -neighborhoods?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Military spouse here. With a population of 82,363, Mountain View is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great. Any help is appreciated. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
