Best neighborhoods to rent in Mountainside?

Hey everyone, I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. Household incomes average around $210,100 in Mountainside. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in South. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
