What I wish I knew before living in Mountainside

So, I work in automotive and Crime rate is something to consider -Mountainside sits at 43.6 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Fairview area are decent. Kids love it here.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Chicago it's average.
