Is Mukilteo worth moving to in 2026?

Hey folks, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $830,000 on average. Household incomes average around $122,612 in Mukilteo. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $830,000, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 1 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
