Life in Mukwonago as a young professional

So, Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $335,900 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,097 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 8,411 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 6 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
