Working in Mulberry -salaries realistic?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $125,500, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots?

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- The safety scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 9 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
