Honest thoughts on life in Muncie

Hello, Been living here since 2011. Rent is about $867/month for a decent place. Median household income is $43,395, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The food scene is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
