I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $774 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. Poverty rate is 11.5%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Munhall sits at 567.9 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Munhall? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Used to live on the Eastside side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value food scene, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
