Longtime lurker here, You can expect to pay around $1,480 for rent here. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
