Hey, It's a a mid-size city city with about 158K people. Median household income is $76,241, which feels about average for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Should I be concerned? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in education. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Indian.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
