Hello, I'm retired and Household incomes average around $165,109 in Murphy. Homes are going for about $508,500 on average. Rent is about $2,640/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Let me know your thoughts. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
