Pros and cons of Murphysboro after 13 years

Longtime lurker here, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 6,804, Murphysboro is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thanks for reading. As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much established but now it's improving.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
