Hi all, The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. With a population of 49,904, Murray is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this?

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to LA it's better than expected.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
