Longtime lurker here, Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Definitely worth checking out..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Used to live on the West side, now on the Old Town side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
