Housing in Murrieta compared to Tucson

Hey, Military spouse here. Rent is about $2,330/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $109,780 in Murrieta. With a population of 112K, Murrieta is a mid-size city. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
