Alright, Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Murrieta sits at 66.1 per 100K. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
