Been living here since 2016. With a population of 10,786, Myers Corner is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Myers Corner sits at 300.1 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Mexican places. it was the best decision I ever made.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The community vibe is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Dallas about 10 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
