Random thought, I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $1,741 for rent here. The median home value here is around $457,900, which is pretty steep. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 11 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
