Hey folks, I've been here for 7 years and It's a a smaller city city with about 37,214 people. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
