Nanticoke quality of life -am I missing something?
Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $103,800 on average. Rent is about $787/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 15.2%, which is higher than I expected. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Nanticoke? Any help is appreciated. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
