Quick question about Nantucket

Not sure if this has been asked before, but With a population of 10,837, Nantucket is a small town. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 2 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.
