As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much established but now it's surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is improving.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
