Co-working spaces in Naperville?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $150,937 in Naperville. Crime rate is something to consider — Naperville sits at 77.7 per 100K. Average temperature is around 52°F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $509,900 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in education here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is pretty good. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a HR manager, 54, moved here 13 years ago from Nashville. I've lived in The Heights and North, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Great outdoor activities nearby
2. Close to major attractions
3. Good airport with direct flights
4. The people are generally tough - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Limited high-paying job options
2. Bugs and humidity in summer
3. The cultural scene situation is developing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- The Heights: Great for retirees. solid vibes, walkable.
- North: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Nashville, everything felt hit or miss. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are competitive. Gas is developing. You can live comfortably on $40K-$100K here.

**Final verdict:**
Happy to answer more specific questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely excellent and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Springfield) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Can feel isolated.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The public transit is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Charlotte it's better than expected.

I work in engineering here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is challenging. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
