Relocating to Naperville, IL — pros and cons?

I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $509,900, which is pretty steep. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thanks in advance! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 3 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
