Best apartments in Naples under ?

Hi all, I'm originally from Orlando and It's a a small town city with about 19,421 people. Homes are going for about $1,254,200 on average. Median household income is $140,833, which feels pretty solid for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Diverse community
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Not very walkable
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Poor road conditions
Should I be concerned? The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Came here for retirement and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The traffic scene is tough

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Definitely worth checking out..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely underrated and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Houston, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Chain restaurants dominate.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Chicago about 8 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Baltimore about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is decent.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a marketing manager, 44, moved here 2 years ago from LA. I've lived in Eastside and Lakewood, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Cost of living is very reasonable
2. Low crime in most neighborhoods
3. Decent public transit for the size
4. The people are generally average - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Property taxes are high
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The pet-friendliness situation is developing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Eastside: Great for remote workers. challenging vibes, walkable.
- Lakewood: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from LA, everything felt hit or miss. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are reasonable. Gas is stable. You can live comfortably on $60K-$80K here.

**Final verdict:**
Feel free to reach out with questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
