Housing in Naples compared to Minneapolis

First post here. I'm a college student here and It's a a small town city with about 19,421 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Greenfield for 15 years. Moved from Minneapolis for retirement. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is excellent. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
hospitality is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is decent - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Greenfield schools are tough. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited high-paying job options. Not a lot of cultural diversity. And housing market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 8/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.
