How much do you pay for rent in Naples?

Been meaning to ask this. Median household income is $140,833, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $140,833 in Naples. Homes are going for about $1,254,200 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
Anyone in a similar situation? Appreciate any input. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a writer, 27, moved here 8 years ago from Nashville. I've lived in Sunset and Pine Hills, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Active local events and festivals
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally surprisingly good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Winters are long and cold
2. Road conditions need improvement
3. The weather situation is manageable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Sunset: Great for families. hit or miss vibes, walkable.
- Pine Hills: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Nashville, everything felt better than expected. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are stable. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $60K-$140K here.

**Final verdict:**
It's not for everyone but it works for us.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

The food scene here is improving. Tons of great Vietnamese places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Mediterranean places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
