I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Nashua sits at 144.0 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 91,131 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Houston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is tough.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
