So, Military spouse here. Household incomes average around $92,457 in Nashua. You can expect to pay around $1,652 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Maple Ridge. It's solid for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in consulting you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The food scene is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in The Heights for 7 years. Moved from Austin for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2017 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.
**Employment:**
finance is strong here. government is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The outdoor scene is surprisingly good - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are solid. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Nightlife is limited. Not very walkable outside downtown. And cost of living can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 7/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
