Moving to Nashville-Davidson for work — advice?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. It's a a major city city with about 684K people. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
