Life in Nashville as a young professional

Born and raised here. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,009 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Any advice would be great. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 3 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
